Routine Vaccines for All Ages

Vaccines Protect You at Every Age

Vaccines are not just for flu season—they protect you throughout life against different viruses.

For Children and Teens

Vaccines help protect against illnesses such as:

  • Measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR)

  • Chickenpox (varicella)

  • Polio

  • Diphtheria, tetanus, and whooping cough (DTaP/Tdap)

  • HPV (human papillomavirus), which protects against several cancers

Your child’s health care provider can help you follow the recommended vaccination schedule

For Adults

Even if you were vaccinated as a child, you may need updates or new vaccines.
Common adult vaccines include:

  • Tdap or Td (tetanus, diphtheria, whooping cough) – every 10 years

  • Shingles (zoster) – for adults 50+

  • Hepatitis A and B – for adults at risk or not previously vaccinated

  • Pneumonia (pneumococcal) – for adults 50+

You can check the adult vaccination schedule to make sure you are up-to-date.
