Respiratory viruses like flu, COVID-19, and RSV spread easily during the colder months. Staying up to date on these vaccines helps reduce serious illness and hospitalizations.

Flu Vaccine

Updated every year to match the latest flu strains.

Recommended for everyone 6 months and older.

FluMist nasal spray is available for people ages 2–49 who prefer a needle-free immunization.

For maximum protection, it is usually best to get vaccinated during September or October.

RSV Vaccine/Immunization

Recommended for adults ages 75+, and for ages 50–74 with certain health conditions.

Also recommended for women during pregnancy to protect newborns. Alternatively, newborns can receive the vaccine to protect against RSV. The timing of this vaccine will depend on when they are born in relation to the current or upcoming RSV season.

The RSV vaccine is given as a one-time dose.
