Alexander K. Chefetz, M.M.

Alexander Chefetz is a Managing Director at CriticalPoint responsible for sourcing and executing mergers and acquisitions, as well as financing transactions, in the consumer sector. He brings over 30 years of investment banking experience, having executed a wide variety of sell-side, buy-side, and divestiture transactions, as well as public and private financings. Alexander offers middle-market clients a unique combination of bulge-bracket sophistication and experience with boutique-style service and responsiveness.


Prior to joining CriticalPoint, Alexander held similar positions focused on the consumer and business services sectors at Cowen, Lazard, and Thomas Weisel Partners. Previously, he was a senior investment banker at Citigroup and Drexel Burnham Lambert. He has served on several corporate boards and has been involved with numerous non-profit organizations.


Alexander graduated with a BA in Political Science from Haverford College, where he played lacrosse. He received his Master of Management from Northwestern’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, where he was on the Dean’s List and received the Aronson Memorial Scholarship (Accounting). Alexander is a Registered Representative of CriticalPoint Partners, LLC and holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 62, 63, and 79 licenses.
